WILLIAMS & STROHM EXPANDS HOA, CONDO LAW PRESENCE TO INDIANA, ADDS ACCOMPLISHED ATTORNEYS
Williams & Strohm, LLC, announces its strategic expansion into the state of Indiana by welcoming two Indiana-based attorneys with more than 40 years of legal experience.
Kimberly Sutter and Gregory Chandler have joined Williams & Strohm to lead its HOA and condo law efforts from Indianapolis. Together they represent two of only three current Indiana attorneys who have been admitted into the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). Both are colleagues and former partners of Indianapolis-based Eads, Murray & Pugh, P.C.
“I’ve known Kim and Greg for decades through our shared work as Fellows in the Community Associations Institute (CAI) College of Community Association Lawyers, as well as speaking engagements at the CAI’s National Law Seminar,” said Robin Strohm, partner, Williams & Strohm. “We share a common commitment and values-based approach to the critical work we do for the communities we serve. That makes this an ideal strategic opportunity to have Kim and Greg to join us as we expand our efforts throughout Indiana.”
Meet our Indiana Attorneys
Kimberly Sutter has dedicated her entire career to representing community associations in Indiana and Ohio for more than 20 years. Kim has extensive experience in all aspects of community association representation including corporate governance, document drafting, enforcement, and collections.
Kim is an active member of the CAI Central Indiana Chapter and has served on the board. She was a two-time President of the Chapter. Kim is a Fellow in the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), and is one of three current Indiana attorneys admitted to this prestigious national organization. Of the many thousands of association attorneys nationwide, fewer than 200 have been accepted into CCAL. CCAL Fellows are considered leaders within the field of community association law and among the most respected community association attorneys nationwide. Kim currently serves on the Membership Committee for CCAL, evaluating other community association attorneys for admission.
In 2017, Kim was selected as a speaker at the Community Associations Institute National Law Seminar. In both 2018 and 2020, Kim co-presented a continuing legal education seminar on Community Associations in Indiana with the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum. She regularly presents education seminars and webinars for board members to promote education on community association issues.
Greg Chandler has been practicing law since 2007 and has devoted the entirety of his legal career to serving Indiana homeowners associations and condominium associations. Greg has extensive experience as corporate counsel with assisting in an array of legal capacities, including document drafting and covenant amendments, advising boards on governance issues, leading and speaking at membership meetings, legal document interpretation, review and drafting of contracts, enforcement of covenants and litigation, and collection of assessments.
In 2018, Greg became just the third Indiana attorney to be inducted as a Fellow in the Community Associations Institute (CAI) College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). Of the many thousands of association attorneys nationwide, fewer than 200 have been accepted into CCAL. CCAL Fellows are considered to be leaders within the field of community association law and among the most respected community association attorneys nationwide. Greg has actively been involved in the CAI Indiana Chapter and is currently serving as the president of the board for the Indiana Chapter.
In 2023, Greg was honored with the “Tanner Award” for his contributions to CAI education and HOA leadership. The award was created to recognize volunteers in the association industry in honor of Scott and Carole Tanner, who were pioneers in the field of Indiana community association law.
